Rock-cut tombs in ancient Palestine were typically designed to accommodate between six and twenty bodies. The deceased were laid either in wall niches known as kokhim or on stone benches called arcosolia . After about a year, when the body had completely decomposed, the bones were gathered and placed in bone boxes known as ossuaries . Thus, for a wealthy family, a single tomb was sufficient for generations of use.

Yet the tomb in the garden on the slope of the Mount of Olives held only one body....

That body disappeared, and the tomb remains empty to this day....

"He Is Not Here!"

The women who went to anoint His body with spices were the first to hear this message from the angels: "He is not here." Those very words are also inscribed at the tomb.

The resurrection of Christ is what sets Christianity apart from every other religious faith. Among the great figures of history who ultimately surrendered to death stands the Son of God, who conquered death itself.

Even as human imagination, scientific discovery, and technological innovation continue to push beyond every known boundary—reaching into space, the moon, and distant planets—and even as the AI technology provides answers to our questions in an instant, humanity still stands humbled before the greatest mystery of all: death!

Do not seek Christ among those who died and returned to dust. The angels' proclamation, "He is not here," means that He is no longer in the tomb—no longer among the dead. He is alive...!

"He Is Here!!"

▪️To Mary, who stood weeping because she could not find His body, Jesus called her by name, assuring her of His resurrection.

▪️As the frightened disciples sat in despair, wondering what would happen next, Jesus came and stood among them, offering them His peace.

▪️To the disciples on the road to Emmaus, who were arguing and trying to make sense of all that had happened, He walked with them for seven miles, answered their doubts, and led them back in faith.

▪️For the disciples who had returned to their old way of life, He waited for them on the seashore, prepared breakfast, filled their nets with fish, and demonstrated His unfailing care for them.

▪️He appeared to more than five hundred people, proving His resurrection beyond denial, and later ascended into heaven as His beloved disciples were watching.

Dear friends,

Even today, while some claim to be spiritually alive, and remain dead within and say, "He is not here," because they have never experienced the presence of Christ.

But those whose spirits have been awakened by God experience His presence even when they are burdened by sorrow, weighed down by trials, or troubled by doubts.

They can confidently proclaim:

"He is with us...!"

Yes. Let’s proclaim: “He is with us..!!”
